2011 QMA National Meeting - All We Know so Far!

RCP #1 = Yes, Novices at the Grands, Exhibition only, minimum one practice and format decided by Host club, & all participants receive equal awards.
RCP #2 = Yes, Drivers must attempt to qualify to race at any State event in the number of classes they wish to race at Grands. Classes no longer have to be specific.
RCP #7 = Yes, clubs must send proposal to bid on Grands & all RD & Natl Board members vote for all 3 events.
RCP # 9 = Yes, Any driver turning 17 during the race year can finish the current calendar year.
RCP #15 = Yes, Jr Animal combine weight of 250 will be a competitive class beginning 4/1/2011. It will be run at State and Grands events. Jr Honda will remain the same thru 2011, but will not be recognized at State or Grands in 2012 and will be eliminated by 1/1/2013.
Sr & Hvy Animal will be competitive classes beginning 1/1/2012 & will run at the State and Grands events.
Sr & Hvy Honda will remain unchanged for 2012 but not be recognized at State or Grands events. They will be eliminated as of 1/1/2014.
Light & Heavy Wild Animal will begin 1/1/2013 and be recognized at State and Grands events. The Lt 160 & Hvy 160 Honda classes will not change for 2013 but will not be recognized at State & Grands events. They will be eliminated as of 1/1/2015.
RCP #18 - Has to do with Tech, Illegal Parts and Handler rights.
RCP #21 - Effective 6/1/2011, for all non-dirt track QMA events, the required right side tire for all classes except Novice will be the Vega MBM. There may be other options at the local level depending on certain criteria. More information on the official website.
RCP #23 - a NO judging at local level racing may be voted on by a majority & posted 2 weeks before the event.
RCP #26 - When a yellow flag is thrown in anticipation of cars going dead, line up will be from the last completed lap & considered a flagger error.
We assume all other RCP received a NO vote.
