TECHNICAL / SAFETY BULLETIN APRIL 2, 2010 SFI FOUNDATION, INC. / IMPACT RACING, LLC UPDATE SFI Foundation, Inc. and Impact Racing, LLC have issued a joint statement that sworn testimony has revealed that no counterfeit SFI Conformance labels were used on Impact Racing products during production years 2009 and 2010 and that those products meet SFI Specifications. Therefore, SFI's decertification of those products has been lifted and the parties will work cooperatively in an effort to resolve the issues relating to products manufactured in other years and which SFI previously announced will be decertified effective April 27, 2010 Impact Racing stands behind the safety of all of its products to which SFI conformance labels have been affixed. Impact Racing will work together with SFI to determine if any safety issue exists on products manufactured in years prior to 2009. If any competitor has Impact Racing Safety products that do not bear a date of manufacture, the purchaser or user is instructed to immediately contact Impact Racing, which will provide verification of the date of manufacture. At this time USAC has not changed any rules as they pertain to minimum standards on safety equipment.  We will work closely with both Impact Racing and SFI Foundation to keep you informed on this situation.
